The Voice, Adam Levine, Amber Carrington leaves The Voice

Ok Do I really think that,  The Voice's coach Adam Levine, Would  cause his only remaining contestant to be voted off on purpose? I happen to think that his over riding hatred of country music blurred his judgement, and he made song choices that made it impossible for this Texas Country Girl to continue on. He repeatedly Gave Amber Pop or Rock and Roll songs in the last 3 weeks. When She sang Crazy by Patsy Cline, She received a standing ovation, and Rival Coach Blake Shelton, Said to Adam Levine, This is Why This girl sings country it's called god given gift and ability. Funny thing is   after that night Adam Continued to tell Amber, you have to get out of country, you have to sing other genre's.
     Amber was all smiles, hugged the winners, not one tear looked almost like she was glad to be leaving. She had a real chance to win, She was the only one that could compete against Danielle Bradbury's, solid  country voice, and The Swon Brother's natural harmony.  I think at this point that the winner will likely be either Danielle Bradbury or The Swon brothers, Whom ever wins, the country will welcome all 3 artists with open arms.    

The Voice, and then there were 3

Well, now there are 3 on The Voice, Michelle Chamuelle, Danielle Bradbury, and The Swon Brothers, Are the 3 finalists, For next weeks, show. Amber Carrington actually looked happy to be leaving, she was all smiles, congradulated the three winners. It's Adam's fault For throwing her under the bus AGAIN! She's a Texas girl who has consistantly told Adam That she sings Country, Adam for the last 3 weeks has consisntantly given her, Pop songs, 3 weeks ago, Adam gave her a pop song, she received some claps then, She sang  Crazy by Patsy Cline,  and received a STANDING OVATION, Blake Shelton told Adam in his comment's,  That this is why she sing's country, It's called God given gift and ability! Adam, still didn't get it, it's like because she sang country he didn't want her to have the chance to win, Last night he gave her 2 solid rock and roll song's and she got voted off tonight, it's  a shame because she's a great country singer, whom her coach made sure she got sent home, So sad!

Lionel Richie

Watched the Lionel Richie and friends concert last night.. I was impressed to see the
country elite pay homage to a pop super start. Also with all the Ipads, Iphones, Ipods, I find it difficult to believe that Nicole Ritchie, didn't realizzzze who her dad was until last night. Even thought Lionel, wrote a song for her when she was little.

CMA Awards

Well what was billed on TV as the CMA Awards Show was the CMT Video awards show. Kristen Bell Did alright maybe someone got thru to her that Country Music songs and fans are not  a bunch of partiers, and sex fiends.

Just hours til the CMA's

With just hours to go til this years CMA's will be here and gone for another year. All we can do now is wonder, who the winners will be tonight we know who the nominees are. as the show goes onn i will list the catagory and who the nominee's are and who the winner's are.

Well 2 surprises tonight 1) Holly Tucker got voted off the voice, 2) Chilvary isn't dead. Holly Tucker was up against her team mates The Swon Brothers, when they announced the Swon Brothers Holly at first said i'm ok, i'm ok with it then a few tears came then a complete and utter breakdown  in tears, The Swon Brothers circled around her and turned her back to the camera so that her face could not be seen. Blake rushed up on stage to reassure and console her.

Traditional Country on The Voice

Traditional country comes to life on the voice with great renditions of Proud to be an okie from muskogee, by Merle Haggard, was performed by the Swon Brothers, 16 year old Danielle Bradbury, Holly Tucker and Amber Carrington. All would be a breath of fresh air to the country music scene.

Adam Levine and his hatred of country music

So, could Adam Levine's hatred of country music cause him to lose the voice. He has the chance to win, Amber Carrington is a powerhouse country singer. yet he continues to give her rock and roll and pop songs. When she picks Songs like Patsy Cline's version of Crazy, she consistantly knocks it out of the park. You would think that seeing this he would pick country pop songs. Instead he continually tells her that she  needs to sing something besides country. Blake Shelton, said it best in his comments last night after she sang Crazy by Patsy Cline. Blake Shelton, said to Adam this is why she sings country, she has a god given gift and ability!

So Adam Did it again!

         So Adam Levine has 1 contestant, Amber Carrington whom Adam knows is a Country singer. So last night they sang 2 songs, one picked by the contestant and one picked by their  coach. So Adam gives Amber a Rock song by Skidrow, Amber looked at the song and said, I don't know this song. She looked at the sheet of music and said this song was popular 20 years before I was born, in a genre i don't sing or listen to and you expect me to know it. Adam, says to her you need to sing more than country. So she sang the song knocked it out of the park. For her song choice, she chose crazy by patsy cline, and got a standing ovation! Blake Shelton said to Adam this is why she sings country, she has a god given gift and ability. So in spite of Adam throwing her under the bus a 2nd time, she showed what an awesome singer she is, and showed why, she deserves to be in country music.

And 6 remain, on The Voice!

Danielle Bradbury, Holly Tucker and The Swon Brothers, remain on Blake's team, Michelle Chamuelle, remains on Ushers Team, and Sasha Allen remains on Shakira's team, and Amber Carrington remains on team Adam. Here's who i would like to see go forward, Danielle and, Holly from team Blake, Michelle from team Usher, and Amber from team Adam  Danielle and Holly are both good strong singers, So is Amber however, Adams adamant hatred of country music, almost flushes her impending career down the toilet. that and the way he threw her under the bus (my honest opinion) by giving her a pop song and telling her you have to sing something besides country. and he gave her a pop song. which she knocked out of the park, much to his shock, and he gave Judith a song out of her wheelhouse, and she struggled and struggled with it in practice sessions, and he let her go out and sing it anyhow. In my opinion he chose the song for judith, so he should have had a backup song. Usher said it best, he told Judith, wow, that was so far out of your wheelhouse, while i understand what adam was doing, it didnt work. he was trying to show people you could sing other things, but it came off pitchy and flat. i was shocked that sarah got voted off i liked her. while i would like to see the following artists go forward, Danielle, Holly, The Swon Brothers, and Amber.  However, because of Adams outright hatred of country music, Amber, will likely not make it. and it will be Michelle or Sasha. We will see what song he gives her monday, that will show if he's going to throw her under the bus.

CMA Awards and Co-host Kristen Bell

I am saving my final comments  on Kristen Bell until after the  CMA Awards. However, in the commercials she portrays country music and its fans as nothing but a bunch of of partiers. My current thoughts on the subject are as follows. With all of the talented artists, and up and coming artist that would love to share the stage with Jason Aldean, who are country music artist and would show respect. Kristen Bell in the commercials trys to make out that country music artist think about nothing but sex and partying. In the one commercial she is psycho-analyzing Jason Aldean and she says to him, I psycho-analyze all my co-hosts, then asks him about his song Big Green Tractor which is about a big green tractor that he has, she says I'm sure you do, he then offers  to show it to her and she says i bet you will, thats my kind of party too! my current thoughts are who on earth made this decision.

miranda lambert, gets emotional during rendition of "House that built me"

ok, for those of you on facebook that were hyper critical of miranda lambert and her emotional performance of the house that built me last evening i saw it cooming, miranda lambert is a highly compassionate  person, and i for one saw the emotion building in her face as she sang and when she said nothing but a memory, is when she lost it. I for one can understand it because 1 she lives in oklahoma, and having lived in oklahoma, Oklahomans are raised to care  deeply about their neighbors and to pitch in and help others. its in there blood. Not to say that other states dont care just that Oklahoma is different. i strongly support miranda lambert, shes a phenominal artist. She has the RIGHT to get emotional about the events in her home state.

The Voice & The critics

With all the news lately on the voice, and the critics are blasting the show, that because Blake Shelton  appears to be on his way to a 3rd win that the show should be called the country voice. let me point out there errors, 1st the artist that helped blake win his first time, was an R&B artist and as far as i know is persueing an R&B career, cassadee pope did not come on his team as a country artist, she came on as a pop rocker that he showed that her talents were better served as a country rock female, and she listened to his knowledge and she won. Adam got caught in an off mic moment blaming america for judith being voted off that blame lies solely on his soldiers, she was struggling with that song all through practice, and then that showed in her performance and then Adam blames America. I also like Shikira and usher in place of christina, Christina only votes people on her team that sing like her, Shakira, voted on people she could help, and she has helped every one  on her team. Usher has done the same. as for ceelo i dont know why hes there. will have more next monday, after the voice.
